GEISA 2015 (new)
The GEISA 2011 spectroscopic database
The development of GEISA (Gestion et Etude des Informations Spectroscopiques
Atmosphériques : Management and Study of Spectroscopic Information) was started in 1976
at Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD) in France [Chédin et al. (1982)], and regularly updated [Husson et
al. (1992, 1994), Jacquinet-Husson et al. (1999, 2003a, 2003b, 2005, 2008, 2009)]. GEISA is a
computer-accessible spectroscopic database, designed to facilitate accurate forward
atmospheric radiative transfer calculations using a line-by-line and (atmospheric) layer-by-layer
The current 2011 edition of GEISA (GEISA 2011) is a system comprising three independent sub-databases devoted respectively to:
Supplemental data are also available, they contains partial or complete information about transition parameters of Earth and planetary atmosphere molecules. Those data were not introduced in the current GEISA 2011 on line edition, but could be of interest for the scientist community :
